Cannot access Orbit Audiences in FastStats and PeopleStage

Cannot access Orbit Audiences in FastStats and PeopleStage

If the system has been configured correctly then you should be able to access Orbit Audiences from within FastStats and PeopleStage.

This is useful because you might have an Audience created within Orbit which you want to refer to in a FastStats selection or a PeopleStage campaign.

In order to configure this, your system administrator needs to:

Run the FastStats Configurator
Choose Web Service
Specify the correct connection string to the relevant FS_Config database and click OK
Click the system name tab
Click Orbit in the left-hand panel
Make sure the Orbit API URL and Orbit URL are referencing the correct OrbitAPI and Orbit UI, respectively.
Use the Test button on each of these to test them, individually.

The administrator also needs to populate the equivalent settings in the relevant FastStats Service configuration.

Run the FastStats Configurator
Choose FastStats Services
Highlight the relevant system and click Properties
Click the system name tab
Expand the System section and click Web Server
Ensure the Orbit API URL is referencing the correct Orbit API URL
Use the Test button to test this

If you had to make a change to this then you will need to restart the FastStats Service in order for it to take effect.
