FastStats not showing most recent release on splash screen launchpage
When you run a FastStats Launcher (or FastStats local) then the log in page should show a list of features in the splash page to the right of the log-in panel:
If this is not showing the release notes which correspond to the software version (you can find this from File > Help > About) then you might need to clear out a cache file on the client machine.
FastStats embeds a version of Chromium using the component 'CefSharp'. The default cache path for this embedded browser is set in FastStats to the %APPDATA%\cachepath directory.
To fix this issue, quit any FastStats Launchers or FastStats Local, if you are using this.
Clear out your %APPDATA%\cachepath directory
This will empty the embedded CefSharp cache.
Clearing out the cache in IE/Edge/Chrome/etc will have no effect.
